Director, Project Co-ordinator & Engagement Officer

Hello I am Lorraine, I am the coordinator for the Accessible Calderdale Project and the Engagement Officer for our disability forum.

I have helped the forums develop and grow into different reference groups and connect and liaise with our stakeholders across the borough so that disabled people are fully represented and their views create change.

I am passionate about equality and inclusion and enjoy being part of a project which is engaging and diverse making a real difference in Calderdale.

I have worked in the third sector for over 12 years including management at a women’s centre, community development work & training adult learners.

When I am not at work I enjoy art galleries and visiting museums, watching plays and dance performances at the theatre and spending time with my family.
